John Vernon Lord started his illustrator and art teacher carrer early in his 20’s by joining the Saxon Artists as a freelance illustrator. Emeritus Professor at the University of Brighton, his work combines practice as a book illustrator and children’s author. He also publishes articles in the field of illustration.
His Alice version was published in a limited edition by Artist’s Choice in 2009.
