Helen Oxenbury

Helen Oxenbury is on of the most popular contemporary illustrators of children’s literature.  She received several awards including 2 Kate Greeaway Medals, a Kurt Mascheler Award and a Booktrust. Helen’s version of Alice won both the the Kurt Maschler Award and the Kate Greenaway Medal.

Rebecca Dautremer

Rebecca Dautremer is a fantastic French illustrator that has already illustrated many classic tale stories. Alice is on of them, but many other are worth checking!

Her Alice version was first printed in 201o  – Album de Gautier Languereau – Texte intégral de Lewis Carroll . Of note, in this book Alice truly resembles Alice Liddell.

Michael Hague

Michael Hague is an American illustrator and writer of fantasy books. In addition to a beautiful Alice, he has illustrated  other great classics such as The Wizard of Oz and The Hobbit.

Robert Ingpen

In 1968 Robert Ingpen was second time awarded the Hans Christian Andersen Medal for his international contribution to book illustration. He has illustrated more than 100 published books, including children’s books and fictional stories. He has also a lot of work in scientific illustration.

His version of Alice was first published by Templar in 2009.
